The city of Caraúbas is located in the Chapada do Apodi Region, in the West of the State. Its name comes from a typical tree of the region, the Jacarandá. The city has thermal water fonts that attract visitors in search of their therapeutic properties. The Apanha Peixe Lake is ideal for the practice of nautical sports and fishing.
